Our first release will be the long awaited the Bang Gang's "Vanity Kills" which was slated for a 1992 release by MCA records but sat shelved as demos due to musical politics and the dreaded grunge explosion. The project first came together under the guise of the Bang Gang's founder and bass player Scott "The Bitch" Earl and the Indian Service Records crew in July of 2000. A few months later and after major re-works of mixing and mastering as well as digitally enhancing the over-all sound quality (due to the demise of the master tapes) the only thing left now is finishing up the final artwork. A release date should be well into a Feb/early March release...
This is one of those bands that put out two awesome records in the mid 80's and never got their due or recognition they truly deserved! It gives us great pleasure to be able to start working on this greatest hits package of a band that was truly before it's time and was never credited properly. "Bad Boy Billys" gave us another great mix tape too! Suffering from the NY Dolls curse of "Too Much Too Soon" they diminished into oblivion… until now.
